The instrument basically consists of a Miniature Furnace with Automatic Ramp Rate of Heating, Microprocessor Controlled Visual facility is provided through Magnifying display of melting operation under front & rear illumination controlled (Light intensity adjustable) with the help of magnifying glass. Melting point reading put on hold as soon as the melting of sample visualize, by activating to press the “MELT” key. The instrument gives audio & visual indications & reading is protected from power failure till “RESET” is not activated. The Furnace becomes off and the cooling fan ON automatically. Melting Temperature of the sample remains displayed on the panel till the “RESET” switch is operated. Suitable for Dark Coloured / all kind or any coloured Samples. Temp. effect on viscosity / flow points and molecular weights by Rast’s method with suitable accessories can be measured.
